Musical Theater at Valley Conservatory is designed to help students grow in every area of life—mind, body, and character. Through acting, singing, movement, and teamwork, students learn to express themselves confidently while discovering the joy of performing. Every class gives children opportunities to sing, dance, act, and collaborate as part of an ensemble, helping them develop skills that reach far beyond the stage.

Our approach focuses on helping students communicate clearly, take responsibility, and face challenges with courage—skills that prepare them for success in music, school, and everyday life. Students will explore acting techniques, play theater games, learn pantomime and improvisation, and engage in storytelling and creative drama. They’ll also learn musical theater fundamentals, including vocal projection, stage presence, and healthy singing technique—all taught in a supportive, encouraging environment.

Throughout the year, students will prepare for a variety of performances, such as variety shows, community events, themed showcases, dinner theater possibilities, and a final stage production in the spring. Every student in the program is cast in each performance, ensuring that all children have meaningful opportunities to shine, learn, and grow.

And of course, we make sure to have a LOT of fun along the way!
