The Valley Conservatory is a Music Service Center with more than ten years of experience providing services in the arts to the Huntsville/Madison County community, schools and parent organizations, and is designed to develop all aspects of the students mind, body and character. We offer private studio lessons, public educational Lyceum programs, special off-site arts education programs, and Music for All Occasions.

1. We offer lesson year-round in Piano, Strings, Guitar, Brass, Woodwinds, Percussion, Voice, Art, Pre-School Music Programs, and Music Education, all in one location.

2. We are one of the largest and most qualified teaching faculties in the Tennessee Valley.  Several of our instructors hold masters and doctorate degrees and all of our instructors hold either college degrees or performance equivalent experience in their field of expertise.

The warm, friendly faculty is graduates from some of the best conservatories and universities in the country and are not only dedicated to the musical development of the students, but will teach you the style of music that you want to learn from classical to jazz. We also provide opportunities for our students to participate in area competitions and adjudications.

In 2009, Valley Conservatory received the “Business of the Year” award from the North Alabama African-American Chamber of Commerce and was one of four finalists for “Business of the Year” designated by the City of Madison, Alabama Chamber of Commerce.  Our mission is Developing Better People Through the Medium of Music.

4. The widest range of lesson times available.

This saves time and money because families with more than one child can take music lessons on different instruments on the same day. Our office manager and staff are available 5 days a week, 9 hours a day to assist our clients:

 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.  Monday – Thursday

12:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Friday

5. A comfortable waiting room for parents and professional office staff.

Instead of waiting in a music retail store showroom, our clients enjoy a spacious, professional waiting room with comfortable chairs, kid toys, magazines and a fresh spring water dispenser.  We also provide room observation windows where parents can watch their children while they wait.  Parents also have the option to sit in on their child’s lesson at anytime.  In addition our office manager and staff are available to assist our clients with any needs or concerns they may have.

6. Fully equipped lesson rooms.

Our rooms are equipped with everything needed for lessons--pianos, amps, keyboards, drum kits, pads and more.  All you need is to bring your instrument.

7. Free Recitals and Lyceums.

Valley Conservatory provides recitals and a Lyceum Concert Series where students are able to interact with performing artists.  February and May recitals feature Valley Conservatory faculty. “Christmas in the Valley” showcases our students during the holiday season.  We value the opportunity to prepare our students for the discovery, integration, application and dissemination of knowledge.

Our convenient location is close to great shopping at Madison Square Mall, Sam’s, and fine dining.

9. Summer Programs and Camps

The Valley Conservatory Summer Programs and Camps focus on exposing students to the arts in a broad sense.  These programs are custom designed for the community and are offered to individuals, schools, churches, community and other civic organizations.  Activities are structured according to age group appropriateness,

10. Month to month lessons.

Valley Conservatory does not require a semester minimum for lessons. Every student is on a month to month basis.
